【悲報】24歳女性「25歳は中年女性。私は中年になりたくないから自殺する。」

Today I got the call that my beautiful, clever daughter tried to kill herself.
When I went to pick her up from the hospital she confessed to me through tears that she is terrified of turning 25 next week.
She decided she would rather be dead.

We had a long conversation and remembering it hurts my heart but I need to share it, because my daughter is not the only young woman I have seen say these things.
Just a few days ago someone else brought this up too, so I know this is not just my daughter.

私が病院まで娘を迎えに行った帰りに、娘は泣きながら「25歳になるのが怖い。」と打ち明けてきました。

娘との会話はとても辛いものでした。しかし、このように感じている若い女性は娘だけではなく沢山いるはずです。
